We’re pleased to announce that the next release of Soprano is available for preview.

This release includes the following:

• Cataloguing fix
  • MARC record parsing errors
• Circulation
  • Pick reservation list amendments

Cataloguing fix

MARC record parsing errors – MARC records which previously were giving parsing errors can now be edited and saved.

Circulation

The Pick reservation list now shows the Last seen date and is ordered by the reservation identifier. This will mean that the copies which could satisfy a reservation are listed together. In addition leading zeros will now be retained in barcodes.

To preview this release

You can preview this release by inserting ‘-demo’ into your tenancy URL after the word ‘soprano’: soprano-demo.librarymanagementcloud.co.uk/{your tenancy name}. Please remember that it accesses your live data.

Release to the live service

This version of Soprano is expected to be released to the live service on Tuesday 1st December 2020.
