    • Search Base using Cat. Auto Search Order
  • Circulation fixes
    • Issuing reserved items to fixed due dates
    • Transit message in return

Acquisitions

Performance when changing the bib record linked to an order.

Some changes have been made to speed up searching Base when looking for a bibliographic record to update an order. Please note this feature requires LDS 2.9.16.

Cataloguing fix

Search Base using Cat. Auto Search Order – In Search Base the system will now only search the databases specified in Configure Alto> Parameter Management> Rules> Bibliographic Search Order> Cat. Auto Search Order. If no databases are specified, then the system will search all the Base databases. Please note this fix requires LDS 2.9.14.

Circulation fixes

Issuing reserved items to a specific date – If a specific due date is set in the parameters for reserved items, the system will now display the confirm button allowing the item to be issued to that date. Please note this fix requires LDS 2.9.16.

Transit message in return – Now as an item is returned the system will show the spinner to help gather responses from the LDS. You will be able to navigate away if need be, via the menu.
